always in the clouds

I took these pictures this week and thought they complimented each other well.  The first sky image was too bright to be contained within my camera, and I couldn’t get a shot of it.  The sky did not look like the picture does; it was insanely beautiful.  The night time photo was the same scenario in reverse, and the two attempts together reminded me of two Aesop Rock songs.  I recommend listening to Daylight first, then Nightlight.  One of my favorite lines comes from Daylight:

“All I ever wanted was to pick apart the day, put the pieces back together my way.”
