In addition to the color blue, the series I am working on for my November Palm Springs show is also about mountain landscapes. I grew up running around barefoot at 6,000 feet above sea level, playing in the surrounding mountains that reached even further into the sky. The jagged line of the mountain tops that encircled me in that small, mountain town had a profound effect on me and I think it’s time for me to explore that deep love for the massive slabs of rock.
“I only went out for a walk and finally concluded to stay out till sundown, for going out, I found, was really going in.”
